Cardiff Support Scheme
Available in The City & County of Cardiff, our Support Projects offer friendly advice and help to council tenants who might be unsure of their responsibilities as a tenant or who are finding it difficult to manage their homes and build more stable & fulfilling lives.
What does the Project Do?
A member of our support team will spend time getting to know each individual’s circumstances. We then work closely with them to plan the steps they need to take and the help they’ll need along the way. Our team is experienced, skilled and knowledgeable about opportunities and services that can help tenants improve their situation. This includes help with finances and debt, benefits and welfare advice, health and social issues, as well as work and training opportunities.
As well as practical assistance and advice on budgeting, benefits and other relevant support agencies, support workers are skilled at listening and giving emotional support to help people cope with the impact of their circumstances. This one-to-one help increases the client’s confidence so that they can start living independently.
If you would like to help our Cardiff Support Scheme’s work, please donate some money or just a little bit of your valuable time. You can really make a difference!
