We are looking for a full time support worker for 8 months maternity cover to work in our Bridgend Shared Housing team.You will manage a caseload of up to 9 clients in 2 houses.Experience of working with mental health related issues is essential. 

You will work in a mobile setting, therefore the ability to work on your own initiative whilst remaining integrated into a larger regional team is also essential. Prior experience of such an environment is desirable.

Pension
All staff are eligible on completion of a successful probation period to a contributory pension scheme. Staff must contribute at least 3% whilst the organisation will contribute 5%.

Holiday Entitlement
Caer Las Cymru operates a sliding scale holiday entitlement. Staff on first year contracts receive 26 days per annum entitlement. In year 2 of employment this figure raises to 28 days, year 3, 30 days per annum. For staff with four years or more service, the leave entitlement finishes at 33 days per annum.  

Staff working in our residential schemes (such as Willow) receive a similar arrangement that takes into account the impact of working 12 hours shifts on a set rota.

Training & Development
Each member of staff will receive continuous training and development during their time at Caer Las Cymru. Starting with a Core Training package, each staff member will undergo the compulsory core training element and also receive refresher sessions on this training annually.

Your Regional Manager will discuss with you further training opportunities as they arise.
