Caer Las gets involved in the Western Bay E2E Network

The Western Bay E2E Network is a regional substance user group specifically for people who are or have misused substances. E2E is a way that service users across Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot and Swansea can get together to share and represent their views.

Rebecca Nkurunziza and Scott, a service user of Caer Las Young Person's Scheme attended the official E2E launch event a few weeks ago. The launch event was an opportunity to raise awareness of local engagement opportunities such as Bridgend Involvement Group, Swansea Service User Recovery Forum and the development of a Neath Port Talbot Involvement Group.
The event seeked input from service users, carers / family members and service providers to develop a regional service user and carer engagement charter, to build on the Bridgend Charter developed in October 2013.

Rebecca gave a presentation at the event and spoke about Caer Las Young Person's Scheme and about our recent successes surrounding participation. Scott spoke at length about how the Young Persons Scheme had helped him and complimented the support he had received from Caer Las Young Person's Scheme.
